Ну лично, я там каждый день сижу, как и тут почти. По-моему, те кто занимаются серверами, должны заходить туда каждый день для интересных вестей :)

DDoS атака была!

Hi All,

Around 2AM GMT-8 Feb 22, 2014 we experienced a sustained DDoS attack. It appears to be an NTP amplification attack, which is unfortunately cheap to execute and highly effective. To avoid disrupting other customers, our provider null-routed our IP address.

We're experimenting with ways to stay online. Hopefully it works. Some stuff may be wonky in the meantime - please post if a domain is down.

I had an NTP attack just now. It only targeted my main server and got up to 10Gbps. Lasted 2 hours. Guys just doing it to empty servers it seems.

Similar to mine, lasting for the same duration too, funny thing was it was midday here so my server was empty since everyone was either at school or work :V

5 year ago nothing was DDoSed. Nowadays, it's like a common thing, look at big communities. Most of them experienced one or more DDoS attempt during the last year.

you ban someone, you eat a DDoS attempt.
Another time it was just because one guy got killed too much time. Dafuk.

5 year ago no one talked about DDoS on server or website, we didn't even know what DDoS mean...
